This page is the map of the music itself. If you only have five minutes: open the free player, search a title or mash shuffle, and listen. If you have longer, the rest of this page explains why the catalog is shaped the way it is.
Two doors into the same house
The main listening door is asiancoastline.com. It is a browser player: search, shuffle, radio-style continuity, no account. A second door lives on GitHub Pages at the excavationpro listen hub. I keep two doors because audio hosting fails, CDNs hiccup, and I would rather a listener have a spare entrance than a 404.
Spotify, YouTube Music, and Audius carry the artist identity for people who already live inside those apps. Those platforms have their own terms. They do not replace the personal license on this site. If a platform encodes a track at a different bitrate or crops metadata, the rights still sit with me unless a contract says otherwise.
Size of the public set
The free listen set is large — thousands of public stream files, with a substantial ISRC-tagged subset. I encode streams (not always lossless masters) so a phone on a bus can play the work. Masters stay local. That split matters: what you hear in the player is a public stream. What I archive as a master is not a free-for-all source file for commercial remix packs.
ISRC codes, when present, are how a recording is uniquely identified in the wider industry. I use them so a track is not just a filename that can be renamed by a scraper. If you are a librarian, a radio person, or another artist trying to cite a recording, prefer the ISRC and the official player link over a ripped MP3 with the title changed.
Albums, hubs, and long tails
Some work groups naturally into albums. Some work is a long tail of experiments that never needed a twelve-track sequence to justify existing. I do not delete the experiments because they are not “singles.” The player is allowed to be a library. Libraries are allowed to be uneven. That unevenness is honest.
What you may do
- Listen on official players and platform pages.
- Download copies I offer for your own offline listening.
- Share official links (this site, the player, the license/terms page).
- Use a short excerpt in a non-monetized personal post with credit when practical.
What you may not do without written permission
- Sell the tracks, bundle them as a sample pack, or mint them as if you own the master.
- Rebrand a beat as your type-beat product.
- Sync commercially (ads, films, games, apps) without a license.
- Strip credits or identifiers so the origin disappears.
